Green Grass

Today I sat in the grass outside with Audrey for a half an hour and just enjoyed the weather. We played with her bubble machine too. Audrey has learned at daycare not to eat the grass I think...because every time she had a handful of grass, she handed it to me. :) Audrey is 10 months old. She is sleeping great again, she had gone backwards for a while. She crawls both ways. Wants nothing to do with standing...which is okay with me! She eats baby foot and big people food. She can sign more and bubbles. But now that she knows both of them, she sometimes get's them mixed up. She LOVES baths so I think she will LOVE the lake this summer. Today, Audrey went to her first track meet (at Delano).

We had a wonderful Easter with the Runyan family in Verndale. We missed Emily and Eric and their girls..but look forward to see them in July.

I will post pictures soon. I haven't been blogging much lately, will try to work on it!

Colorado Trip 2: Success

I guess you could say, Audrey is becoming a world traveling. In a matter of 10 days Audrey flew to Colorado, back to the cities and then drove to Roseau with me. We (Sam, Jane, Audrey and I) went to Colorado to play with Cousin Jack, Auntie Carrie, and Uncle Andy. Jack was had his Baptism on Sunday....which we learned a few things. The baptism ended up being really funny. Jack ended up getting his first tooth a few days later., which explains why was a little off during the ceremony.  We also learned Audrey likes to be heard in ALL places...inducing church. I ended up walking around or letting her crawl around the whole time during the baptism, until she passed out in my arms. We had a great time in Colorado, it's so beautiful there. So many walking paths, hiking paths and things to see. Audrey even went down her first slide while in Colorado. The plane ride went amazing smooth, again. Audrey slept the whole time on the plane...good planning by Grandma Jane to schedule the flight during her nap time! Audrey discovered on this trip she can play a game with Grandpa Sam. She pretends she is scared of him, until he gives her something good (pancakes or apple juice). Then she is his best friend!!! What a smarty!

Once we returned to Minnesota we had a few days at home with dad then off to Roseau Audrey and I went. Auntie Heidi was having her Pampered Chef Bridal Party....what fun! A double bonus as we got to see some family we haven't seen for some time!  I was able to spend some quality time with some old high school friends/best friends! My jaw hadn't hurt that bad in a long time from laughing, smiling and reminiscing about the all the good times.

The little girl, Maddie (flower girl in my wedding), who I used to babysit, babysat Audrey while we were home! It was a bitter sweet moment...how does time fly by so quickly that Maddie is almost a 7th grade?

Audrey is getting cuter and cuter every single day! Her hair is growing in, she now has 6 teeth...she loves table food. She will still eat baby food, but is enjoying discovering other food. Her balance is coming along, not standing by herself more than 2 seconds. Walking along everything!! She has FINALLY slept through the night 2 straight nights...after some "sleep training" we did. She had been getting up at night consistently 2 or 3 times a night for the past 2 months!! She typically takes 1 long nap a day for about 2-3 hours.

Audrey- 9 Months old

Audrey,

Audrey_067Audrey_065Audrey_057Audrey_058Audrey_061Audrey_047

You are our world, it amazes me how you change every single day! Every minute you are doing something new and changing every day. Today we had your 9 month check up...here are your stats...

Weight: 23.8 pounds (98%)

Length: 29 inches (91%)

This past week you started trying some table food, which you have loved all of it! You've tried macorine and cheese, cheese slices, go-gurt and tonight you tried green beans with cheese on them. You are not intrested in sippy cups yet, but love to drink water out of a water bottle. Some of your new tricks include...standing up in your crib, pulling yourself up on anything (couch, people, toys, bathrub, chairs..ect), you still do the army crawl (I don't think you will do the normal crawl), and love your stroller rides already! You enjoy your jumperroo sometimes. You are a happy baby! When you get fussy, you need something. I'm trying to teach you baby sign, but you just look at me. I've had to tell you "no" twice, and you cried with tears both times. You hated going outside for a while, until Wendy discovered you hate your snowpants. Therefore we just put wool socks on your legs and you loved being outside with the kids at daycare (you play in the exersauser). You wave bye bye to me at daycare, when I leave. You love Wendy, you reach out for her every morning. Today you went to daycar3 with your cousins, and you are SOO lucky to have cousins who protect you! Hayden told me "I took really good care of her." He also told him mom, "I wouldn't let "this boy" pull her hair, I had to tell him to stop pulling Braylee's hair one time." Audrey you'r a doll and a blessing to us. I can't imagine where we'd be in life with out.

Untitled

Audrey is getting busier by the day. I found a really cute quote in this book I was reading to Audrey tonight, I will post it later. This past weekend we had my parents and my sister here. We had a great weekend!!!!!! I will show pictures later. We got together with my moms college roomate, and her family. Her daughter also had a baby last spring, named Hazel. It was fun to see them again! Oh yeah, I've also started making some baby crafts. If you know anyone who needs a baby gift or looking for a baby gift I might have the perfect thing for you. I've started making burp cloths, changing pad covers and baby girl head bands. :) Ken said I need to start selling them or else I need to quiet making so many! :) He's so smart, love that man! I have one week left at my long term sub job and then I will be filling another maternity leave at Delano. We have praying that I can find a job somewhere for this fall, I'm hopefully that our dream may come true. Peace out for now, Audrey is almost 9 months old![wpvideo xHjgaMYQ]

March 6th, 2011

Time is flying, and it's only going to go faster! We have a very busy end of March, April & May! The best part is last, Heidi's Wedding is the last weekend in May. Audrey's newest trick is that she can pull her self up, all the way onto her feet! She got a new toy from her cousins (Hayden & Braylee), check out the pictures. She now has 4 teeth with more on the way! We are looking forward to a fun weekend with my parents and sister this coming weekend. You will also see a hand print art project I had to make for a class I'm in, it turned out really cool! I did Audrey's hand-prints, Kenneth's hand-prints and mine.

8 months

Audrey your 8 months old!

I would still say your favorite toy is your piano that Grandma Jane bought you at a garage sale. You play with it daily, more than once.
You do not like being in your jumperoo at home. You do not like to sit still (in a stroller, not moving). You don't like to go outside to play because you can't move around very good.
You love your toes/socks, playing with water bottles, adult toes, balloons, mirrors and moving around.
You can do the army crawl, fast. You get up on all four and rock, but go no where. You crawl anywhere in the apartment, from room to room, looking for people.
When you turned "8 months," you crawled up stairs for the first time at the Rues (2 steps).
You can be laying on your belly and pull yourself up to your knees by pulling on something (piano, couch, or person).
You have two teeth, bottom two, I think your working on another. Your hair is growing and coming in fuller. I think you will be right handed. Your dad plays catch with you and reads you books. You love playing with magazines. When your hungry you often times get louder. You talk a lot and have a loud voice, thanks to your mom. You take baths on your belly and do enjoy taking showers. :) You are the love of my life and melt my heart every time I see you. You have a beautiful smile and three different types of laughs!!! You laugh whenever somebody is blowing on your tummy or neck. You are a true Minnesotan because you have survived a snowy winter!

Videos, Videos, and Video's!

This past week we've been able to spend some "extra" time together as a family! Audrey has been under the weather with the runs for a whole week! :( Kenneth came home with her on Monday, on Tuesday home with me and Wednesday back to daycare. Kenneth has spring break today and tomorrow so they get to spend some quality time together! Even though Audrey is "under" the weather, she is still so happy! She is still sleeping, eating and playing great! Part of me feels maybe she is getting some serious teeth???? She has her bottom two, but that is it. Whenever she chews on fingers, it's always the ones in the back part of her cheek.

I have about a baggilion video's on our camerea, so I'll upload a few for you to check out! Over the past week these are Audrey's favorite toys...her piano, human toes, plastic water bottles and magazines. Who ever said we need "baby" toys?????????????????

The last video is my favorite, it was a suprise when I turned on the camera.[wpvideo RiOFzY3N]

Becky Home Maker

I guess you can call me Becky Home Maker. I've started a new hobby. In honor of two of my aunts; Aunt Aundrey & Aunt Ione.  I wanted to crafty when it came to Christmas this year; so I had made a few items as gifts using Aunt Cathy's sewing machine. Surprising, I got a sewing machine of my own for Christmas from my mother/father in law. Some of the gifts I made were flower headbands (Thanks to my friend Sondra, who taught me how to make them), burp cloths (figured it out on my own), work out head bands (saw them at a craft sale and thought I could do that), my latest creation was a changing table cover for my dear daughter and flower clip holders (Thanks again to my friend Sondra).

Here are a few photo's....

Oh, I'll also add some of Audrey. Did you know she has two teeth that I can see?? However, she wouldn't let me get a picture of those.

Adios!
