Once again we found ourselves putting our home into boxes to move it north. As I posted earlier, Kenneth took a new job in Roseau. This is something we had been waiting for, for a while. We had always said this is where we wanted our kids to grow up. One weekend in May we came to Roseau to look at a house, we are living in that house already. It's a perfect house for us, a blue house with a blue door. We "officially" close on the house next week (June 14th), but moved in the first weekend of June. I can't thank Mitch Rue for helping us pack up the Uhaul. It took about 6 hours total to load a 26 foot trailer! When we arrived to Roseau I sent out a message for help to unload the trailer. Help came and it was all unloaded within 40 minutes.
Kenneth has been busy with life in Roseau already. He's playing summer baseball with the town team, The Roseau Royals. Their record is 2-1 on the season. Besides playing baseball, Kenneth has had a LONG to do list from me, and he also has summer basketball "stuff."
Audrey, well I was starting to think she wasn't going to enjoy life in Roseau. She hasn't slept good for about 4 nights and is sneezing a lot. I brought her in to the doctor today to find out she has a bilateral ear infection. POOR BABY! Audrey & I were suppose to be leaving for Madison, WI Thursday morning...but had to cancel the trip as I don't dare travel with her for 12 hours in the car. At the doctor's office today she weighed 25 pounds. We go back in two weeks for her 1 year check up and to check her ears. This is her first ear infection ever, so I feel very fortune about that.
Last weekend, Memorial Weekend, we celebrated the marriage of Heidi & Mikes. It was an amazing day. Everything was so perfect, nothing could of been changed. It was so fun to see my nephew Jack again for the third time. He is growing so fast and is turning into a handsome little baby! I already miss my nephew and niece from Delano. When we left Delano he did say, "mom, it's only two weeks until we get to see them again." That quote made my day.
